  • Canada Day is fast approaching and this national holiday is marked on July 1st as the anniversary of the Constitution Act which united 3 territories into one nation as Canada in 1867. Why not celebrate this year with a Canada Day Party with friends and family? Here are 5 hosting ideas and tips for your Canada Day Party:

If you’re choosing a park, a few things that you might want to consider such as:

    • Is there easy access to picnic tables with shaded areas?
    • Is it convenient to commute to via transit, car share, cycling, and vehicle?
    • Is it an alcohol-permitted park? Check with your local municipalities on which parks, if any, allow alcohol consumption. The Alcohol in Parks Pilot program has been extended to 22 parks in Vancouver from June 3 – October 16, 2022.
