WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

We collect information from you when you register on the site, place an order, respond to a survey or communication such as e-mail, or participate in another site feature.

When ordering or registering, we may ask you for your name, e-mail address, billing address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information, personal preferences, pairedclub.com password or other information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

We also collect information about gift recipients so that we can fulfill the gift purchase. The information we collect about gift recipients is not used for marketing purposes.

Like many websites, we use “cookies” to enhance your experience and gather information about visitors and visits to our websites. Please refer to the “Do we use ‘cookies’?” section below for information about cookies and how we use them.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?

We may use the information we collect from you when you register, purchase products, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:

 

• To personalize your site experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested.
• To allow us to better service you in responding to your customer service requests.
• To quickly process your transactions.
• To administer a survey, promotion or other site feature.
• If you have opted-in to receive our e-mail newsletter, we may send you periodic e-mails. If you would no longer like to receive promotional e-mail from us, please refer to the “How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?” section below. If you have not opted-in to receive e-mail newsletters, you will not receive these e-mails. Visitors who register or participate in other site features such as marketing programs and ‘members-only’ content will be given a choice whether they would like to be on our e-mail list and receive e-mail communications from us.

 

HOW DO WE PROTECT VISITOR INFORMATION?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. When you place orders or access your personal information, we offer the use of a secure server. All sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases to be only accessed as stated above.

DO WE USE “COOKIES”?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. For instance, we use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart. DO WE DISCLOSE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT TO OUTSIDE PARTIES?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advance notice, except as described below. It also does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety.

However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Promotions: If you choose to participate in the promotions offered on the site, your personal information may be disclosed to third parties in connection with such promotions. Also by entering a promotion, you are agreeing to the official rules that govern that promotion, which may contain specific requirements of you, including, except where prohibited by law, allowing the sponsor (s) of the promotion to use your name, voice and the like in advertising or marketing associated with the promotion.

Marketing Partners: We may share personal information that you provide to us through a marketing partnered site and will be subject to that marketing partner’s privacy policy. A link to the marketing partner’s privacy policy will be provided on the marketing partnered site. You will need to contact that marketing partner directly if you do not want the marketing partner to use your personal information.

Mobile Location Data: If you download the App, we may ask you if you want to give our App access to your mobile devices location. If you grant the App access to your mobile location, we may collect location data from your device for analytics and to better provide our services to you.

Statistics: We also collect statistics about use of the services purchased through the Website or the App. This information will be kept confidential, however, aggregate statistics that do not personally identify an individual will be kept by us and such aggregate statistics may be made available to other members or third parties.

Legal Obligations: We may disclose your personal information to third parties if we have reason to believe that disclosure is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) our rights or property, other users of the Website or the App, or anyone else (including the rights or property of anyone else) that could be harmed by such activities. We may also disclose personal information with your consent, or when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law.

 

Other Exceptions: Without limiting disclosures that may be permitted or required by applicable law, we may also disclose your personal information in connection with a corporate re-organization, a merger or amalgamation with another entity, a sale of all or a substantial portion of our assets or stock, including any due diligence exercise carried out in relation to the same, provided that the information disclosed continues to be used for the purposes permitted by this Privacy Policy by the entity acquiring the information.

 

HOW CAN YOU OPT-OUT, REMOVE OR MODIFY INFORMATION YOU HAVE PROVIDED TO US?

To modify your e-mail subscriptions, please let us know by modifying your preferences in the “My Account” section. Please note that due to email production schedules you may receive any emails already in production.

To delete all of your online account information from our database, sign into the “My Account” section of our site and remove your shipping addresses, billing addresses & payment information. Please note that we may maintain information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record keeping.

SUBMISSIONS

Pursuant to our Terms of Use, we may publish your name, voice, and the like and other personal information in connection with any submissions you make to the site.

ADVERTISEMENTS

Advertisements appearing on the Website or the App may be delivered by us or one or more third-party web advertisers. These third party web advertisers may set cookies. These cookies allow the advertisement server operated by that third party to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement. Accordingly, advertisement servers may compile information about where or whether you viewed their advertisements and which advertisements you clicked on. This information allows web advertisers to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. The Privacy Policy applies to cookies placed on your computer by us, but does not cover the use of cookies by any third-party web advertisers. For the privacy practices of such third-party web advertisers, you should consult the applicable privacy policy for the relevant third-party web advertiser(s).

In most cases, we will collect personal information directly from you when you purchase or interact with us about a product or service that we offer or provide. Occasionally, we may collect personal information from a third party based on your consent or as otherwise permitted by law.

In an attempt to provide you with increased value, we may include third party links on our site. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these linked sites (including if a specific link does not work).

INFORMATION PROVIDED BY YOU ABOUT OTHERS

If you decide to invite a friend or family member to create an account, we will collect your friend or family member’s name and email address in order to send an email and follow up with them on your behalf. We rely upon you to obtain whatever consents from the friend or family member that may be required by law to allow us to access and upload the friend or family member’s name and email address as required above, including any consent required by law to allow us to upload a friend or family member’s address in circumstances in which you have gifted our products to a friend or family member and have asked us to ship products to that friend or family member’s address. You or your friend or family member may contact us at customerservice@pairedclub.com to request the removal of this information from our database.

INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE TO FACEBOOK, OTHER SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES AND YOUR COMMUNITY PUBLIC PROFILE

The Website allows users to access Facebook to interact with friends and to share on Facebook through Wall and friends’ News Feeds. If you are already logged into the Website and Facebook or another SNS, when you click on “Connect with Facebook”, or a similar connection on another SNS, you will be prompted to link your profiles. If you are already logged into the Website but not logged into Facebook or another SNS that we support, when you click on “Connect with Facebook”, or a similar connection on another SNS, you will be prompted to enter your SNS credentials or to “Sign Up” for the SNS. By proceeding, you are allowing the Website to access your information and you are agreeing to the Facebook or other SNS’s Terms of Use in your use of the Website. Conversely, if you are not currently registered as a user of the Website, and you click on “Sign in” using Facebook or another SNS that we support, you will first be asked to enter your Facebook or SNS credentials and then be given the option to register for the Website. In this case, we may receive information from Facebook or another SNS to make it easier for you to create an account on the Website and show our relevant content from your Facebook or SNS friends. Once you register on the Website and connect with Facebook or another SNS, you will be able to automatically post recent activity back to Facebook or the other SNS. Any information that we collect from your Facebook or other SNS account may depend on the privacy settings you have with that SNS, so please consult the SNS’s privacy and data practices. You have the option to disable Facebook Connect at any time by logging into your Account through the Website and going to settings, “Account Settings”, and then unselecting “Facebook”. Further, you can edit privacy settings for the reviews that appear on Facebook or disconnect your Website activity stream by visiting the Facebook Applications Settings page.

PARENTAL/AGE PRIVACY

The site is intended for use by adults of legal drinking age in the jurisdiction where you reside. We do not knowingly solicit or collect information from anyone under the legal drinking age for the purchase of alcoholic beverages in the jurisdiction where you reside. If we receive notice or reasonably believe that an individual under the legal drinking age has provided us with personal information, we will delete the account and all personal information that has been associated with the account.

RETENTION

We will keep your information for as long as it remains necessary for the identified purpose or as permitted or required by law, which may extend beyond the termination of our relationship with you. We may retain certain data as necessary to prevent fraud or future abuse, or for legitimate business purposes, such as analysis of aggregated, non-personally-identifiable data, account recovery, or if permitted or required by law.

CHANGES TO OUR POLICY

If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on this page. Policy changes will apply only to information collected after the date of the change. This policy was last modified on October 12, 2021.

ACCESS AND ACCURACY 

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you in order to verify the personal information we have collected in respect to you and to have a general account of our uses of that information. Upon receipt of your written request, we will provide you with a copy of your personal information in accordance with applicable law, subject to information which we are permitted or required to withhold.

At the same time, you have a responsibility to ensure that your information is kept up to date, including using the features of the Website and the App to update, correct, delete or add to your personal information as appropriate.
